1. Who we are and the purpose of this document

This Privacy Policy is issued by Monarc Development S.R.L., with its registered office at 25 Zăgazului Street, ap. 21, Sector 1, Bucharest, Romania, acting as data controller for the website https://www.radissonblumamaia.ro (the “Website”), which presents the Radisson Blu Hotel & Residences Mamaia project.

It explains which personal data we collect through the Website, why and on what legal basis we process it, how long we keep it, to whom we may disclose it and what rights you have, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), in particular Articles 13 and 14.

“Personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as a name, an email address, a phone number or an online identifier.

2. What data we process, for what purposes and on what legal basis

Contact and enquiry form

• Purpose: answering your enquiry and discussing availability, ownership options and residences that match your interest.
• Data: full name, email address, phone number, area of interest (Investment Residences / Lifestyle Residences), the message you send us.
• Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Website security

• Purpose: protecting the form against spam and abuse.
• Data: IP address, date and time of the request.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the Website secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Website statistics and advertising

• Purpose: understanding how the Website is used and measuring the performance of our campaigns.
• Data: online identifiers, cookies, information about your device and browser, pages visited and interactions (see the “Cookies” section).
• Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

3. Providing your data and your consent

The fields in the contact form are needed so that we can reply to you. If you do not provide them, we may not be able to answer your enquiry.

Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by writing to contact@radissonblumamaia.ro. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

4. To whom we disclose your personal data

We disclose personal data only to the extent necessary, to:

• our service providers, such as hosting, IT, email, analytics and marketing providers, who process the data on our behalf under appropriate contractual terms;
• the sales team and partners involved in presenting the project, where needed to answer your enquiry;
• auditors, lawyers and other professional advisers, where necessary;
• public authorities, where we have a legal obligation to do so.

Data is generally processed within the European Union / European Economic Area. Some analytics and advertising providers (for example Google or Microsoft) may process data outside the EEA; in such cases the transfer relies on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

5. How we protect your personal data

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access, oversight of our service providers and data minimisation.

6. How long we keep your personal data

We keep the data sent through the contact form for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, which will not exceed 3 years from the last interaction, unless a longer period is required to protect our rights or by law.

Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until you withdraw your consent or until the cookie expires.

7. Cookies

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies, loaded through Google Tag Manager, for statistics and advertising purposes (such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity). You can delete or block cookies at any time from your browser settings.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• access your personal data and obtain a copy of it;
• rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
• erasure of your data, in the cases provided by law;
• restrict processing, in the cases provided by law;
• data portability, for data processed by automated means on the basis of consent or a contract;
• object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting prior processing;
• not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing; we do not take such decisions;
• lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (www.dataprotection.ro).
